Album Review

While the Broadways' striaghtforward punk attempt doesn't offer much of anything new or exciting, the group displays an acrid lyrical wit a cut above the majority of their contemporaries, as evidenced by tracks like "Everything I Ever Wanted to Know About Genocide, I Learned in the Third Grade!," "Jonathan Kozol Was Right...," and "F**k You, Larry Kosche, I Hope You Starve and Die Someday!"

WOW!!!!!

this cd is so awesome! it is in your face, gritty, chicago pop-punk. what makes this so great is that it is not all one tempo. there are super fast songs, slower songs, and songs that have it all mixed together. 15 minutes is my all time favorite song but all of them are really good. the lyrics range from political to personal. the members of the broadways have been and are in numerous other bands: slapstick, the lawrence arms, tricky dick, the honor system, and the falcon are just some of them. the broadways are the best of 'em all though, they're the fastest(except for a few larry arms songs), most political, have the most singers(3), and are the most fun to jump around your apartment to. So pick this up and rock out like you've never rocked out before!!!
