Good new band

these guys are good. kinda gives me a break from the deathmetal riffs that I listen to. Since this is thier first album, I can see these guys becoming reknown metal artists.

80's rock for the 2000's

House Of Heavy makes the kind of music that was killed by grunge in the 90's. But please don't mistake them for a cheesy gimmick band that just throws in a few guitar solos for novelty. These guys actually play authentic sounding jam out with your clam out rock. The guitars and powerbox vocals are the main sound components, however, you will find a hint of synthesizers and even some playful sound effects. I'm inclined to compare them to Edguy or Van Halen's later triumphant phase with Sammy Hagar at the helm. The idea behind this one is to rock hard, but still have fun.

It's Alright

Not that heavy to me, i'm sure some people will like it. If you are a fans of more melodic or technical metal this probably isn't for you. Maybe if you have a little brother, you could rock out to this with him in the car!
