New Order at their best

This is the pinnacle of New Order's creative prowess. All of the songs are fleshed out thoughtful and represent what the band is all about. The balance between the instrumentation and the eletronic is never out of whack. It echoes througout their later work (specifically Technique). Ignore Bizarre Love Triangle b/c I'm sure you've heard it before, and really, really listen to As It Is When It Was. Buy it and thank me later

New Order is my favorite band, and with no doubt one of the greatest bands of all time. In this album, they really combine the guitar, bass, synth, and vocals to make some of the best sounds you've ever heard. This is my favorite album by New Order, and i would have to say Broken Promise is my favorite song by them. That song really just makes you want to sing along, dance along, or just sit in awe and listen. 5 star album, just like the rest of New Order.
