iTunes Review

Ronnie Fauss is a late-in-life singer/songwriter whose participation in the Texas music scene led to his signing to the esteemed New West imprint (John Hiatt, Steve Earle) after its owner heard him perform one night. His second album for the label, like the first, was mostly recorded in Nashville with drummer Sigurdur Birkis producing. Old 97’s frontman Rhett Miller (a fellow Texan) joins in for the hard honky-tonkin’ “Eighteen Wheels.” The Austin-to-Nashville singer Jenna Paulette brings pure country harmony to the fiddle and resonator–driven “Never Gonna Last,” while the remaining songs balance between sweet ballads and electrified country-flavored road rockers.

More awesome alt country

First two songs sound great. Can't wait for the album

First Impression.....Fantastic!!!

Good songs, good sound. No doubt this will be on everyone's Top Ten Best Albums Of The Year lists.

Worth Every Penny!

With a tight sound and tasteful production, this album picks up where the first one left off. Whether he's singing beautiful (or raucous) duets or taking center stage with his own unique vocals, Ronnie doesn't disappoint. He's a songwriter's songwriter, and that may be the biggest compliment I can give.
