10 Songs, 40 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

While Burning Bridges is Bon Jovi's first LP made without founding guitarist Richie Sambora, his presence is still felt in the major-key hook of “Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning,” an emotional power-rocker that he cowrote. But it’s on the muscly “Who Would You Die For” and the stomping “We Don’t Run” that the band brings the most heat: On the latter, Jon Bon Jovi belts out his verses with shivering intensity, while producer John Shanks turns in the album’s most scorching guitar solo.

Keep the Faith

Let me start off my saying that I am a huge fan of this band and all of its work. Bon Jovi had clearly degraded in the past decade or so. We all need at least one more great album. I am asking for too much when I say that I want something like These Days or New Jersey. We all know they have the talent of songwriting and killing it with their instruments. Losing Richie shouldn't make them get worse. If I'm being honest, Richie was terrible on the last one. Maybe it wasn;t his fault. I don't wabt anymore "Shake your fist" anthems. I want Blood on Blood. I want Tokyo Road. I want Keep the Faith. I want a better Bon Jovi!

More Cash Grab Crap

As previously mentioned, more cash grab crappy pap from Jon Bon Jovi….an artist that has abused the goodwill of his fans wallets for five, or so albums now…Sorry, truth hurts and there were truly great at one time! Bring back Sambora!
