Confide has taken anything that separated them from the other bands in this scene and pushed it aside to release their new album. It's good, its catchy, and it's a good listen . But every song follows a pattern of breakdown...chorus... breakdown... finish. They Became too predictable. This band will be forgotten if they really want to keep sounding like every other band out there. Buy the CD I say. You may get bored with it, Or you may like it.

South Gate, California-based metalcore outfit Confide specialize in searing post-hardcore with a CCM/electro/screamo-pop twist. Originally formed as a deathcore band in 2004, Confide released a pair of EPs, Innocence Surround (2005) and Introduction (2006), before issuing their debut long-player, Shout the Truth, on Warner Bros. imprint Science Records in 2008 (it was re-recorded and reissued the following year on North Carolina hardcore punk label Tragic Hero).
