Great addition to my ASIA collection… grows on you!

Having been a fan of the original group since day one when I was in junior high, I have followed this group (along with the Payne version) over the years. I would say this is a great album to celebrate the group's 30th anniversary. Awelcome addition to any ASIA fan's catalog (I would suggest adding Wetton's solo and Icon records as well). I think this music will age well as their earlier stuff has done. "Burn Me In Willow" is of particular note… just a great song. Shame that their music isn't more widespread than it used to be, but on the other hand, these hidden gems (Omega, Phoenix, and XXX) are best when left to go their own way and not follow along mainstream music these days.

Still Getting It Done!

I had the pleasure of seeing Asia live this month and they are better than ever. The album, in my opinion, is their best work yet. I would have no problem saying that Carl Palmer and Steve Howe are the best at their craft and John and Geoff are the perfect fit. Seeing them play, you can really see that they are really enjoying themselves. XXX is their labor of love!

However, they also could be surprisingly poppy, and that is what brought them to the top of...
