Love ❤️

All I can say is “It’s about time” Love Basia. This is her classic sound.

A glorious return

It's our girl again...at age 63, that voice...incredibly flexible, vibrant, soaring, crystal-clear and absolutely gorgeous. The most notable thing is the production is more intimate with the heaviest jazz elements ever heard in a Basia album. The opening cut, "Bubble", has Basia's swooping vocals surrounding gorgeous work from the Whites, Peter and Danny. "No Heartache" pulsates with horn riffs and a bossa nova-ish rhythm - and then a wonderful sax solo. My favorite right now is the big-band toe-tapping "Be.Pop" which has Basia at her most playful - her nimble scat singing is wonderful to hear in longer stretches. As the music rolls on, it's clear that Basia and Danny have a unique niche all their own. Obviously, Basia's vocal instrument is the draw but Mr. White deserves equal billing. His role is more prominent then in past albums and his keyboard fills and solos sparkle in his usual unobtrusive way. Over all the albums, his arrangements have always been first-rate, endlessly creative and nothing changes here. There is one OK song to me - the moody "Liang and Zhu" - but there is not a dud otherwise. Many will note the song "Show Time" features Mark Reilly on vocals, making it a de facto Matt Bianco reunion. I especially appreciated the galloping finale, "Pandora's Box" - a joyous ending to a wonderful album.

Yes Yes Yes!!

Basia is one of my all time favorite artists so very excited to see a new release. Matteo, the kick off track gave me chills when I first heard as the sound is similar to her original sound back in the 80's only fresh and today. Thank heavens it's only 10 days to the release, waiting paitiently but really want it right now. Thanks for giving us new music.
