It's a TRIBUTE album

This is a tribute album, not a Lynyrd Skynyrd album, it isn't supposed to sound like the originals. And the cover artists do a hell of a job with the songs, with names like Eric Church, Randy Houser, Eli Young, Jamey Johnson, and Shooter Jennings you can't go wrong. This is a great tribute album.

WTH??

A couple of the artists do a decent job singing the songs. I realize this is a tribute album and that they each want to put their own spin on it but what in the hell is Eric Church trying to do with Curtis Lowe? Run over cats make a better sound than that! I don't know how this guy got into the business. I think he is a no talent, no class hack. Not just from this album but in general. I watched him when he was part of a line up of Hank Williams Jr. and Jamey Johnson. He should not even be on the same stage with those guys. I know he has a big following but it must be the much younger female crowd. I know I'm an old dinosaur but I just don't get it.

HORRIBLE!!

They managed to take some of the most legendary songs ever and destroy them (with the exception of the Jamey Johnson rendition of "Raiford", it was excellent) . Whoever that Ashley Ray is who did Sweet Home Alabama should be arrested for butchering such a classic tune like that. Why would you ever want to listen to this? Just go get the real thing. SKYNYRD will rock forever!
