They're just the best

This album just as good their other albums( loaded, white light/white heat and The Velvet Underground& Nico). But there's a huge difference between the others. Their eponymous album is very charming and sweet. It showcases the innocence of this avant grade band. It's definitely worth the purchase and the time. You won't regret it!

Worth every penny

This album is so beautiful. In the mystery of Reed’s lyrics(“Candy Says”) and in the honesty of his lyrics(“After Hours”) is something so sincere and human. I think Reed was quoted saying that the lyrics to after hours were so innocent he felt even he could’t sing them thats why Maureen Tucker did(which was a great idea anyway). And the music is on another level the guitars and bass are amazing. If your into any kind of music you should have this album, its incredible.
