A Welcome Return

I bought this without even listening to it based on the strength of the Blacks' previous efforts. It doesn't disappoint. The songs on "In Sickness and Health" are strong efforts that hardcore fans will dig. While "Dolly Horrowshow" had more of a NIck Cave meets Hank Williams creepy cabaret vibe, "In Sickness and Health" is more inline with the folksy vibe of "Just Like Home." The songs here have more of a rock 'n' roll swagger than the earlier Blacks songs, but the overall vibe that made the Blacks so unique is still there.
