iTunes Review

In the wake of his trilogy of 2011 mixtapes and his addictive contributions to 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, Abel Tesfaye makes an expert transition from shadowy R&B trailblazer to full-blown pop presence. With assists from Lana Del Rey and Ed Sheeran, Beauty Behind the Madness is a brash collection of electrifying melody and brooding atmosphere. While the silky, Michael Jackson-like vocal moves of “Can’t Feel My Face” made it a Song of the Summer candidate, the hypnotic thump of “The Hills” and the psychedelic serenading of “Often” boast some of The Weeknd's best work to date.

XO!!!!

I've expected more tracks to be on this album, but anyway this album is gonna be the album of the year hopefully and we're looking forward to the Grammy's

Masterpiece

This album is going to be one of the greatest, just like Trilogy and Kiss Land. Fans who have been with Abel since the start will appreciate how much he's grown and his fan base will sky rocket. Already love the album

Pop

He used to have smooth R&b and this new stuff is completely influenced by his popularity. It's basically pop. Go back to your old stuff abel.

Genre: R&B/Soul

A nine-track, 50-minute mixtape made available for free download on the Weeknd website, House of Balloons was based in morose ballads filled with drug references and sexual longing....
