Deanna Durbin- My favorite singing sweetheart of the '40s

In my opinion, Deanna Durbin was one of the most charasmatic opera singers of the 1940s. All of the tracks on this cd are exquisite, but I would have to say that "My Own", and "Because" would HAVE to be my favorites. Young and old alike will love her beautiful voice and cheery melodies. I hope you enjoy the music as much I have.

Deanna Durbin one of the BEST!!

I know I have somewhat of a bias opinion, loving old movies. But I think if more youger people of my generation come to really appreciate REAL music they could and would get pass the black and white and love the movies and their music. Deanna is one of my favorites right up there with Dick Haymes and Harry James of course!! but the people of my generation could probably only associate with Gene Kelly, Donald O' Connor,Debbie Rynolds and Jean Hagen with Singing in the Rain. But there's so much more believe me there is.

She sings like an angel

I was introduce to Deanna Durbin about 20 years ago. She's beautiful and when I heard that voice, I was blown away. So angelic. I've seen 13 of her movies. She's a great actress but one of the most beauftiful singer I've ever heard. I've never heard anyone else like her ever since. She's simply amazing.
