As a Gen-Xer, i'm not always up on the trendiest trends on the youtubes. But once in awhile, one of my Millenial friends will hip me to some stellar tunes that i may have otherwise missed. What these young folks are doing is amazing... Retuning modern pop music like the Rat Pack retuned the Great American Songbook. It warms me to see that the younger generation hasn't lost sight of the music styles of the past. And... If you believe in angels... You gotta think that somewhere, Billie Holiday is smiling down on Miss Robyn.

Clubbin' With Grandpa - Scott Bradlee

This is great vocal jazz. This is a nice, refreshing addition to the Ragtime genre. The album features a variety of covers from popular artists like Ellie Goulding, Beyonce, and Bastille. The cover of 'Team' by Lorde is good, but the only song that is better than the original version is 'All Of Me', a originally by John Legend. Interesting album.

PMJ is one of the most innovative groups doing covers of top 100 in such a unique and
impeling way. Their group with visiting vocalists, are wonderful. Love Puddles! love Kisha, Andromeda, and the rest of the troupe. Should also put Gummy Bear, excellent.
