Customer Reviews

Pat Dailey, the greatest folk singer you never heard of.

"Yo Daddy I ur best..." WHAT? Please don't listen to that illiterate's comment. This album is a real find! Pat Dailey is known well through out the Great Lakes and Key West. He also has a extremely loyal and well deserved fan base. Though, few have heard of him outside of those places. His claim to local fame is from being a bar singer, but he is much more than that. I wouldn't be suprised if one day his music touches the entire nation. I was born and raised in Nothern Ohio, but have since moved to LA. I have heard numerous 'musicans' stealing from him and claiming the songs as their own (until I call them on it, that is) Who knows, Pat would maybe see their theft as a compliment. Though I may be a little biased, I still think he's one of the greatest folk singers ever, and I live in the hub of the music industry. He's funny and touching and this is one of his best collections. If you like good music with heart you won't be sorry.

Great Album: Go see him at Put In Bay every Sat in the summer

This album is great. A little more serious that Raw Bars but quite good. Great Lakes Song and Carpe Diem are two of my favorites!

What the heck, this is not a CD!!! What r u doing?

This CD is the worst CD i have ever listened to. Yo daddy I ur best song but Yo daddy is not that good of a song.

Biography

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '70s, '80s, '90s, '00s

People who attend shows put on by singer/songwriter Pat Dailey know what they're going to get. They like the trigger phrases he sends out that signal it's time for audience participation. They like the way he teases them. They like his songs about fish and about Ohio, the drinking songs and the love songs, and the sly digs Dailey gives to what some would call his Florida counterpart, Jimmy Buffett. Once in a while, some brave soul even requests a Buffett tune from Dailey, which he artfully sidesteps....
