Album Review

Co-produced by Ed Cash (Passion, Needtobreathe), Dave Barnes' ninth studio LP, Carry on, San Vicente, marks a subtle change in style for the singer and songwriter. Intended as a tribute to influences such as Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, and Crosby, Stills & Nash, the album captures the distinct soft rock essence of the lighter offerings from these artists, and especially evokes "The End of the Innocence" Don Henley, whose vocal timbre Barnes' resembles.

Another Dave Barnes Classic

This one ranks right up there with his others. Just push play and listen through till the end.

Dave Barnes is a genius

This album is fantastic, and I expect nothing less from Dave Barnes. His fusion of alternative and country/folk genres is very pleasing to the year, and this, in addition to his soulful voice, makes this album one of a kind and worthy of praise. Thanks for a great one Dave
