The Vince Guaraldi Trio is always satisfying in it's musical presentation. Jazz lives not in their Charlie Brown works but in these speciality albums which show case the true talents of this great group.

Don't expect "Linus and Lucy"

For those who know Vince Guaraldi only though his scores for the "Peanuts" specials, this album will be an introduction to one of the most talented jazz pianists of all time. His "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" not only crossed over to the pop charts, it broke into the top ten on its way to becoming a classic. And his rendition of "Since I Fell For You" is pure aural ambrosia. I have had a copy of this album in my collection since the U.S. single was released over 40 years ago and it never grows old.


My first intro to jazz as a kid. I even remember where the scratch was on my dad's album halfway through "Cast Your Fate..." Couldn't love this album more.
