Not Quite Giacchino, But Not Quite Bad Either

You've got to hand it to Christopher Lennertz. Unfortunaly I'll always have the bias of looking at him as Michael Giacchino's replacement, but even still - I can sense talent here. Lennertz does a fine job with this score, and I give it four stars. Originally I was disapointed by the lack of Giacchino's themes in Lennertz' Medal of Honor soundtracks (though they do turn up here and there), but I have recently had an epiphany. Instead, I respect Lennertz for coming up with new themes, and he does a fine job at that. While I'd recommend Giacchino's legendary Medal of Honor scores first, if you're a fan of this genre then Lennertz' Medal of Honor: European Assult is a must have.

Keep them coming Lennertz!

wow. what can i say about this soundtrack. it has so much emotion and felling in it. the music really gives you a feeling of being there in the second world war. i know it isnt anything like giacchino, but it sounds just as heroic and great as lennertz's presecessor. when i hear it along with the actual clips from WWII, i feel as if the suffering and devastation is happening in real life. encore! encore! lennertz. i cant wait for the next soundtrack.

I don't know about anyone else, but this game changed me. The cut-scenes about WW2 brought tears to my eyes, and the music helped alot. This is probably the first World War 2 game, where it's deep enough to explain how bad World War 2 really was. It told the story of how the soldiers were fighting for what they believed in, and the music expresses that just as well. The game gets 5 stars, as well as the music!
