Ride the Boogie will make you question why you shave your upper lip in the morning. Playful mixes with melancholy as the album takes you through an experience that redefinines rock and old fashioned fun to the ears. You've never heard rock like this. Chet promises.


Like many others, I've been patiently waiting for this album and it certainly doesn't disappoint! You can actually feel how fun this music is and that shouldn't take away from the fact that it's a great rock album. Awesome riffs, damn good production and it's exactly what I've been missing in rock bands for years.... solid f*ing riffs!! God Bless the Boogie. Now come play NYC!!!

Formed in 1999 by Vaux member Adam Tymn, Ride the Boogie grew to include other members over the next few years, each of whom contributed songs and song ideas to the project until an album was finally completed in 2007. Rounding out the membership of this melodic, harmonious grouping was former Places to Park member Glen Pinson, and ex-Arkham members Kevin Burwick and Billy Pena. The band released their self-titled debut on Longhair Illuminati Records -- first digitally, and then in "hard" copy form...
