iTunes Review

Graham Nash has never enjoyed the high profile of his collaborators David Crosby, Neil Young or Stephen Stills, yet he has contributed a great deal to their music and written a handful of songs that have become classic rock standards. Each aspect of his 40 year career is represented on this 64-track set, beginning with his work with the Hollies, following through his peak with CSN&Y, and then his years of solo work and on-again, off-again work with his different partners. Certainly "Carrie Anne," "King Midas In Reverse," "Marrakesh Express," "Our House," and "Teach Your Children" are the most obvious examples of Nash's refreshing child-like optimism and clear-hearted melodies. An acoustic demo of "Right Between the Eyes" is a beautiful representation of Nash's deceptive simplicity. Reflections boasts a hefty number of previously unreleased tracks but many are actually alternate mixes, interesting but not an emptying of the vaults in terms of undiscovered songs. If Neil Young represents the harder edge of the CSNY ensemble then Nash stands as the group's most sincere and laid-back member, as many of the later tracks included here are pleasant soft rock.

Another Great Compilation! Buy it NOW!!!

As far as I am concerned the CSN Box Set is still one of the best ever released by any artist and CSN is not my favorite band of all time. This makes a nice bookend to the David Crosby Box Set released a couple of years ago. Contains the right amount of hits, alternates, demos and key album tracks. Can't wait for the Stephen Stills Box Set.

Graham Nash is one artist who has never minced words and true feelings. Besides all of the jewels on the album that we are familiar with, the live version of Liar's Nightmare is just so wonderful, and well recorded. Long Live the N in CSN&Y!

Take the man's advice - sit back and enjoy!

Can anybody else get away these days with writing such sincere lyrics and such deceptively simple tunes as the great Graham Nash? This is our chance to listen to his songs as a whole, to let a bunch of them wash over us or to take in a few favorites at a time. He is still the one with the sunny tenor voice and the heartfelt message; now some fresh mixes add new depth to old favorites and perk up catchy tunes meant for easy listening. Don't miss the songs that have never before been released on record - all the more classic Nash. It's still all good for you, even in small doses. He deserves our congratulations for a job well done.

Graham Nash is one of the most durable musical figures to have emerged from the 1960s, both as a supporting musician and a star in his own right, and a key figure in both the British Invasion and the '70s singer/songwriter era that followed. As a harmony singer and sometime lead singer with the Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, his voice is among the most familiar in two distinct eras and schools of rock music. Nash was born in Manchester, England, and his musical future was determined on...
