15 Songs, 1 Hour 12 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Renowned for their theatrical live shows, masked occult rockers Ghost captured a thrilling performance in San Francisco featuring some of their finest satanic hymns. Kicking off with the bombastic 2016 single “Square Hammer” and working their way through the Swedish band’s devilish discography, vocalist Papa Emeritus III and his troupe of Nameless Ghouls pump demonic electricity into soaring devotional “Body and Blood,” metallic incantation “Year Zero,” mournful, orchestral pop song “He Is,” and infectious audience sing-along “Monstrance Clock.”

To the folks not getting the schtick

Papa aka special ghoul aka TF will be the first to tell you that they aren’t true satanists. That this is an expression of art. And anyone who tells you they know what happens after you die is a liar. Get over yourselves and enjoy it!!
