Chainsaw Dismemberment doesn't really offer anything brand-new from Mortician; the jackhammer guitar riffs, drum machines, guttural vocals, and horror-movie samples are all still in place, with better production than on their earlier material. The faithful will be satisfied. [Chainsaw Dismemberment was also released in a "clean" edition, containing no profanities or vulgarities.]

seriously, how the hell can you say that all mortician is, is a bunch of sound clips thrown together.. this is like one of my favorite bands

Hey what can I say with a name like Mortician anyone has to be somewhat interested and if you happen to be a fan of the genre I do not see why you would not like it. The instruments sound alright and the vocals are in place so although this does not offer anything new, it certainly does not harm anything either. I do find Chainsaw Dismemberment amusing though more than anything, the others however are good so I would suggest buying the album since it is a good deal anyways since it is 28 songs for 10 bucks.


This is pure brutalliy right here, this band is awsome and has some real talent.
