Customer Reviews

The voice is the instrument and what an instrument it is!

Mike has been picking up some steam with his 10 piece roots gospel and blues band, the Roseland Rhythm Revue, for a couple of years now, leaving all who see it moved. Anyone who has seen this show knows it is undeniable and hits you like a steamroller. On this EP Mike performs with only his voice and guitar that is no less powerful but way more intimate. I know people who actually prefer his music this way and it just confirms what a passionate and talented artist he is. The EP contains a gem from his first solo release Goodnight Sun that definitely paved the way to the gospel inspired Salvation In Lights.

A friend of mine introduced the songs of Mike Farris to me last year. It is great to listen to people who know how to sing from their heart! This dude is solid!

Nearly dying from an accidental overdose, he moved in with his father and began playing guitar and writing songs, gradually...
