Parenthood... Thank you!

I too first heard this beautiful song a day or two ago when watching an episode of NBC's new show Parenthood. Afterward, I seriously could not get it out of my mind (in a good way); that part "I had a dream last night" just played over and over and over again in my head. Finally, today I got online (THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET!) and anyway, I obviously found it... I'm pretty stoked about that! Like I said, it's a gorgeous song. Until now, I'd never even heard of Josh Ritter. I definitely like his voice a lot, and although his other stuff seems cool (from the little bit one can gather hearing short preview snippets), but none of it grabbed my attention and instantly spoke to me in the way "Change of Time" did. The words, the melody, the... everything! Pretty awesome song! Way to go dude!

Good voice. But an entire album of his music would put me to sleep. I found it rather boring although nice I would just skip forward on a shuffle if it came up.

Parenthood should release a soundtrack!

I too first heard this song on NBC's Parenthood (great show!) and was so glad to have found this show online. What a great song. I agree that the song is very Dylanesque, and matches wonderfully with the show's theme song, Forever Young. Thank you, Parenthood! Great find!
