Like Good Music?

If so, don't worry about checking 'yes' like most other reviewers suggest. I could care less if you like my review, its tangible. But something that has been intangible to me for the last seven years is the music of Finch. I have one tattoo and intend on keeping it my only one. And guess what it is? It's the Finch logo on my inner bicep, the same logo on the cover of this EP. I won't bother you by describing the sound of this album, instead just listen to the previews, or simply buy it. Whatever the case, you won't regret it. This band is back, and they're here to stay.

Finch is back!

I love all the songs on my opinion they sound like a blend between WIITB and SHTS..which is awesome. 1. Daylight: 5/5: The intro is a perfect way to set things off. We hear Nate unleash his monstrous scream that we have all been missing for years. Chorus reminds me a lot of something off SHTS but there are definitely What It Is elements to this tune. Nate sounds amazing in it. 2. Famine or Disease: 5/5: Starts off with a really cool simple riff. Its definitely a great song to rock out to. Nate has some great screaming in it and for some reason I really like the drums in this one. 3. From Hell: 4/5: Not the biggest fan of this song..but it is still very solid. Just sounds kind of jumbed at times but I still like it. If I had to compare it to any of their older songs I guess it sort of sounds like Ravenous and Miro at times... 4. Chinese Organ Thieves: 5/5: Not going to lie, the first time I heard a rough version of this I was worried about where the band was headed this time around...but after hearing the final version wow...this song has so much to it I can't really describe it. Just an awesome song

Great But...

I think that these songs are pretty good, not my favorite finch, but not disappointing. the only reason i didnt give it five stars is that if you go to the official finch website all the songs from this EP are FREE. Yes, its true, FREE. so dont waste your money here, go download them!

California-based emo rockers Finch, originally called Numb, include vocalist Nate Barcalow, guitarists Randy Strohmeyer and Alex Linares, bassist Derek Doherty, and drummer Alex Pappas. Strohmeyer actually had a hand in getting the band signed to Drive-Thru Records. The young guitarist contacted the label incessantly, intent on generating interest in his music. His fan mail and pestering even led to friendship of sorts with Drive-Thru owner Richard Reines. So when Strohmeyer inevitably pitched him...
