iTunes Review

A huge star in her native France, Héloïse Letissier (Christine is her entrancing alter-ego) has (partially) rerecorded her radiant debut album in English. The language shift has diluted nothing from the LP’s allure: this is a dazzling and curious electronic pop set that bewitches and challenges. “iT” and “Tilted” are the knockout singles—slinky, restrained and lyrically alive with wit and provocation—but there’s invention around every corner. “No Harm Is Done” is twitchy and insidious, “Jonathan” and “Paradis Perdus” luscious torch songs and “Here” a swirling, multi-lingual, climax.

French music!!

I wish she wouldn't redo the songs with English lyrics. I love her French music and it has much more beautiful lyrics in French. But, love her music nonetheless.

French v. English

Good to see a French artist. Was instantly hooked when I heard Christine (French version of Tilted)

Don't worry love, I like you where you are in your music. CaTQ is my guilty pleasure. Can't wait for this version drops in US.

Grit and Velvet

Her voice has that Stevie Nicks-esque quality...velvety smooth, with the grit. Love it.

Influenced by the theatrical pop of David Bowie and Laurie Anderson, as well as the dance choreography of...
