Favorite Muse album

It's not the most popular, although some of their most popular songs are from this. However this is easily my favorite Muse album. Track by track-
Take A Bow- Cool like techno "endlessly key changing inferno" as Matt described it. Not the best opener or anything, but still very good 9/10
Starlight- lovely piano based piece that you just can't hate. 10/10
Supermassive Black Hole- you should know this song. If not, it's a great funk rock song filled with falsetto 10/10
Map of the Problematique- this is my all time favorite Muse song. It has to grow on you but is absolutely lovable 15/10
Soldiers Poem- great acoustic ballad with some interesting layering. 9/10
Invincible- Slide guitar with a lovable chorus. Nice more tender rock track 10/10
Assassin- Least favorite song on the album, but it still rocks hard. Basically a metal track here 8.5/10
Exo-Politics- A great simple rock track that also kind of funky. Another favorite 12/10
City of Delusion- fun Spanish sounding rock track that I love 10/10
Hoodoo- starts off with what sounds like some more Spanish acoustic but then hits a piano break with a huge climax. Beautiful 10/10
Knights of Cydonia- you should know this song too. If not, it is a beautiful end to the album with its crazy flamenco cowboy tremolo space rock. Buy it. 12/10
Glorious- glad this song is a bonus. It's a beautiful track that has a more positive feel than most Muse tracks. Love it 11/10
Overall 10/10 would listen again

Knights of Awesome

Music that can make the lost believe again, it can remind us that music is indeed art and that hope is not lost.

Probably the best

Muse is my favorite band, and this is probably my favorite album by them. Whenever I listen to it, I listen to it all the way through and have taken the time to learn the lyrics to all the songs. I love all albums and songs by Muse, and this is by far the one I love most. I pretty much loved it by default as Starlight was the song (a great one, too) that got me into listening to this band. Would recommend to anyone.
