I'll Be Honest

Flame is a dope rapper, back when captured dropped I considered him my top 2 rappers with Lecrae, since then I gotta say he went down on my list. First the production could be a lot better. Second, for some reason he changed his flow from the way he used to rap, NOO! Flame should rap hard and gritty, like his verses in God Is Enough (Lecrae), and He Lives (Tedashii). Songs like Goodness to Repentance, Joyful Noise, Recaptured, and Alive are a few examples. Now tho like in The 6th Day he goes," Who told you your purpose, Why do you exist, Why do you prefer doing that over this," it just sounds a little corny. I think flame should go back to the drawing board, collab with artists like the Collision Records guys, get production from Wit, maybe The Watchmen (Alex Medina, Wit, J.R.), work HARD on his lyrics and flow, and in no time at all he'll be back on top of the game. I did like the song with Json, and also Entertainment Paradox. On entertainment parodox his flow is boss, and the beat is hot, should've been a full song. I also will say his voice sounds really good with guitars (The Great Deception and Surrender), maybe he could explore that. This is an honest review, not tryin to hate, I will definitly be looking forward to his next release, God bless.

Real CHRISTIAN Rap at it's finest!!!

I absolutely LOVE the new tracks on this deluxe. I can't even pick one track to highlight! All the songs are great in their own right. The production, lyrical content, and delivery is definitely up to industry standard. I don't expect anything less from Flame!!! I highly recommend this!

Flame does it again

His beats are crazy and his lyrics and rap seem to be getting better with time!!! Awesome album
