Customer Reviews

One of the best!

Simply put, this is one of the best Christian albums ever recorded. Ross King really has a way with words, and this is evident on this release. He says things in a way that is unique and really makes you think. Many different themes are covered, and these songs are at the same time both uplifting and convicting. The album is very enjoyable to listen to (I once listened to it for two weeks straight!), and truly a masterpiece. Highlights include “Things that Matter,” the allegorical “Venice is Sinking,” the upbeat “Safe Distance,” and the amazing “Clear the Stage.” Buy this album – you won’t be disappointed!

Favorite worship record ever

Ross King is one of the most incredible songwriters I have ever heard, if not the best. His lyrics, more than any other, stir my heart to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. This record in particular is my absolute favorite of his. Songs like Clear the Stage, You Can, and What Terrors Kings Must Do will almost always bring me to tears, and humble my heart in a way that no other song has ever done. You WILL NOT find lyrical content like this anywhere else. Please do yourself a favor and purchase this record, and really, REALLY listen to the words. Even after 50 listens, I still get new things out of these lyrics. Hope you enjoy and are as blessed as I have been.

Ross King is awesome! He is friends with our youth pastor and did a concert at our church not too long ago! (& showed us the cool way to open the plastic wrapping on CDs.) Also, Open Letter to the Christian Subculture was the theme song for the retreat we just got back from song!!! So yeah, Ross King is cool! (& not the guy who invented duct tape!!! hahaha!!!)
