Don't buy this!

I haven't listened to this album yet, but wanted to note the band is giving this away as a free download.

If you thought the first two albums were good this one is even better! I absolutely love The Damnwells but I love them even more after this one! I hope they keep it up and making music like this! They are giving it away for free, sorry iTunes. And I hope that a lot more people out there discover them and enjoy their music.

The Damnwells...oh the Damnwells

You can never say enough good about these guys. I first caught glimpse of them when I stole my dad's copy of "Bastard of the Beat" off his desk, and after one listen, I claimed it as mine. I am yet to find an album, much less an artist, that can be defined as my "go-to" band when I'm desperately searching for some tunes that I know everyone around me will love and enjoy. While they are giving it away for free on their website, I highly recommend ponying up some dough so they can continue to make great music.

The group took root in Brooklyn, where Dezen (a former photo assistant) was joined by ex-Whiskeytown drummer Steven Terry, bassist Ted Hudson, and guitarist Dave Chernis. A series of EPs helped cement the band's sound, and the Damnwells soon found themselves...
