Customer Reviews

This album is SO beautiful that I literally started crying when I listened to it.
& I'm still crying. Because it's on repeat.
& I will probably keep crying for the next four weeks. Because it will stay on repeat.

Refined and Matured

Meg & Dia have dramatically changed their direction of music, and for the better.

This album is very acoustic, but incorporates all of the boys and their parts to create a country-indie-folk fusion of music. You'll never hear anything like it. Meg has improved dramatically in terms of her vocal ability. Dia has also made her voice polished since "Here, Here and Here" and has played up her strengths as a vocalist. No need for auto tuned here. (Good riddance to Warner Bros.) Since being dropped from their label, their music sounds like nothing else, but Meg & Dia.

You will be confused to find that Meg&Dia have written an album about finding yourself, falling in love, and fixing broken bridges. There is a level of uneasiness as you begin to question your own love life, but you are brought back down and relaxed by the slow melodies and soothing voices of the two sisters. There are three things you should take away from this album. If you want something, go get it. If you love someone, don't stop. And, it's okay not to know what's going to happen next.

A great album as a whole

I can put this thing on...and listen to every single song with joy. Thank you Meg and Dia. Let this album be heard.

The girls' father was a DJ who exposed his daughters to a wide range of music while they were growing up in Draper, Utah. They were also encouraged to express themselves through the music medium: Dia sang at county fairs, while Meg learned the guitar by playing along with the radio. Though the sisters played in several...
