Maroon 5 finds itself back in heartbreak territory with “Cold,” a wistful pop ballad about two people growing apart. But dancehall drums and a lively verse from Future keep things from getting too gloomy (“I just spent half a mil on a chandelier/Now you tryin’ to cut me off like a light switch”). Frontman Adam Levine told Zane Lowe that the Atlanta superstar topped his list of dream collaborators: “You know his voice immediately; he’s so creative, he can do anything. He’s almost from another dimension.”

Great song!

Really like this song. Tired of people always complaining about the "old" Maroon 5. If you want music from 2000, so listen to SAJ. It's 2017, time to grow up and move on, Maroon 5 has! Honestly, they will make the music they want to make!! This tune, without having SAJ colored glasses on, is great. I love that they keep trying new things and changing it up and moving along.
