Great cd

Bringing back the old style of sampling from his earlier stuff but also some of the same types of vocals (especially his own) that were found on the last CD. A Son's Cycle and a Spaceship for Now are my two favs on the CD. DL those two tracks if you are unsure about buying the entire album. I have a feeling it will grow on me but some of the tracks are really just a bit too slow and un-exciting, similar to the style of his last CD.

Unfortunately it missed the mark

Considering the press about this album, I am let down. As a fan of RJ, I've been buying his albums for years, hoping that his once cinematic multi layered approach to his unique genre would once again inspire me. Unfortunately, this time it did not. I'm not sure where he is going with his recent albums, but as an artist who relies on the music of other artist to inspire me, I'm uninspired. I wish you the best RJ, considering I still rock dead ringer almost weekly. I know that sound is still knock'n around your head. Marketing is not timeless...

RJ Does it again

RJD2 is back with another banger, and this time it's under his own record label. I enjoyed this album from start to finish. Deadringer and The Third Hand fans will both appreciate these tracks. My personal favorites are Let There Be Horns, Giant Squid, and The Stranger.

Overall good album
