Honest Review

I like Threat Signal. Honestly "New Beginning" and "Straight Through My Eyes" are my favorties from them. Unlike most "fans" I dont fall head over heals for everything a band puts out. People 5 star anything now adays.

Now..What my problems are with the CD is that Threat Signal reallly changed their sound. They almost seem like they got the band wrong and "Soilwork" should be on the cover. Every song has the same bland fast riffs and feel. They lack the synthesizers and ambiance of their previous work. *Ahem (Soilwork). None of the songs have a honest, if you played the album on random, you couldnt tell when the songs change. Like Linkin Park, Soilwork, Staind, bands keep deviating from the sound that brought the fans there in the first place.

I personally enjoy metal songs with a sweeping chorus and some melody to them, this is just thrashing. It really doesnt show the talent that this band possess's. You could make one of these CD's every 3 months by just ramming on the drums and guitar. Next time they should show some originality and produce some songs that fans remember. IMO

I'm a huge threat signal fan, and i can truely say, these guys never disppoint me with their work. The album is heavier than Vigilance, and definitely has a different vibe and style then both of their previous albums. Still heavy, Still grooves, Still Threat Signal.

Threat Signal at their finest.

I had no idea they were releasing a new cd, but WOW! This has to be their best release yet. This cd is just plain heavy! Threat Signal continues to stick to their roots while progressing in the best ways possible. Check out Trust In None if you want to hear a great track.
