11 Songs, 1 Hour 13 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Several breakout solo acts make time to appear on this uplifting group effort from the popular worship community. Tides maintains an upbeat message throughout, even when broaching serious subjects, as on the anthemic “Forever.” Highlights include the super-charged pop praise of Jeremy Riddle’s “Breaking Through” and balladeer Steffany Gretzinger’s gently winding “Be Still.” Then there’s “Chasing You,” an ’80s electronic confection that could easily do double duty as a mainstream love song—but this is Bethel Music, so we can be sure the object of affection is divine.

Love.

I enjoyed Tides, but Tides Live takes the songs to a whole new level. There is something so precious & so powerful about corporate worship, & they were able to capture a glimpse of that with this Live album. Thank you Bethel!
