Editors’ Notes

Songs You Know By Heart not only captures Jimmy Buffett's heyday of hits up to 1985, but it's also the compilation where vestiges of Buffett's former country-toned aspirations can be heard. Not everything here sounds rooted in country, of course. "Cheeseburger In Paradise" and the cowbell heavy "Fins" stand their ground on their own playful sound, and "Why Don't We Get Drunk" is honky-tonk right down to the title.

Parrotheads

This is a Parrothead favorite of mine! I love this album it has all of my favorite Jimmy Buffett songs on it. I'll leave it at "I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz '57 and french fry potato, big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer, good God almighty which way do I steer?"

Jimmy Buffet!

AWESOME!!!!

Best album yet! Jimmy shows his effort in these songs and turns an anti-Jimmy Buffet into a Parrothead. If you haven't heard any of these songs yet, then you should! Happy Listening!
