Customer Reviews

Excellent, eclectic with something for everyone.

So it seems that with this ep Scott is just showing off- showing just how versatile his music is. This EP has such a dynamic range of styles there is something for everyone. This becomes apparent from the first track with Dean and Britta’s beautifully minimal version of the song. It sounds like a Mazzy Star song with Galaxy 500 guitar (courtesy the incredible Dean) and gives you a warm pretty head rush. Scott’s mixes are typical Scott- typically pretty yet deep and driving as well. You’ll especially like his dub remix. Joe Claus sell’s mixes start very low tempo and acid jazzy- perfect for those deep dance moods. The ending of his track is not for the musically timid. He cranks out a few minutes of the craziest, tweaked out glory I’ve heard in many moons.- definitely a must hear. “But I like the old hardiss sound” is what some are saying. No worries there either. DJ Phunkae’s mixes are sure to transport you to that incredible summer party in the early 90’s. It’s that classic Hardkiss /SF sound- it’s almost like finding a never released old Hardkiss track. This EP is worth every cent- no matter what type of fan you are….
