Truly the greatest

My old man introduced me to this album when I was a kid and I had the pleasure of sitting with him 35 years later to listen to this album over again...this time, we toasted to a bottle of whisky. Truly a remarkable pairing.

Excellent....don't miss this one.

Check out "Singing In The Rain" , this is a great LP and always a pleaure to hear. Recommended.


Joe Williams has that pristine, jazzy tone to his standards while Basie has the Jazz Orchestra of the century. Flawless, guys. Bravo.
