Solid return!

I have been a Minibar fan for many years now, and all I can say is the new release sounds just as I expected it to. I really hope to get to see these guys on tour sometime...I will wear my snake buckle belt! Excellent lazy summer day music....

This Band Keeps Getting Better

After two pretty terrific albums, Minibar releases a third that is their best one yet. The songs have great writing and peerless music craftsmanship. This is definitely one to put on the headphones, hit play and tune out the world. Easy five out of five.

As expected

After two very good albums, Minibar hits the mark again. I am continually amazed by the quality of the song writing and how well the music highlights the lyrics. The album takes you on a journey, it speeds you and then slows you down and you will enjoy it all. If you enjoy great melodies, a great sound and lyrics to make you think and feel, then you need this album..

While Minibar comes from the U.K., the quartet plays a brand of cosmopolitan roots rock (see Wallflowers and Counting Crows) that is distinctly American. Appropriately, the group relocated to California in 1999. In 1994, Simon Petty formed the group that would become Minibar as a trio that peddled cover tunes (everything from "American Pie" to the whole of Dylan's Blood on the Tracks) in a Soho, London, Tex-Mex restaurant.
