iTunes Review

Mirage was a crucial stepping-stone in Armin van Buuren's journey from EDM superstar to all-conquering force. Trance's high-energy pulses and sleek chord progressions remain his bedrock here, but the vocal-heavy album extends his horizons beyond dance music's limits. "Take a Moment," featuring Winter Kills, is equally uplifting in the stadium and on the car stereo; Nadia Ali helps turn "Feels So Good" into a saucy electro-disco romp; and Sophie Ellis Bextor and Owl City push van Buuren's beats to new emotive heights.

Armin van Burran Mirage Track by Track Review

1. Desiderium 207 (feat. Susana)- This song was just an intro, it sounded nice had a mystic sound to it good start. 6/10

2. Mirage - A great start on this album the intro goes right into this, it is a great instrumental song. 9/10

3. This Light Between Us (feat. Christian Burns)- Christian voice is great with this song, the music that Armin puts with it is great, but I think they could have done better thou0gh. 8/10

4. Not Giving Up On Love (with Sophie Ellis Bextor) - This song is one of my favorites one the album it reminds of his earlier work and Sophie's voice is perfect, but the only problem is it is too short. Get the extended version. 9/10 for short and extended 10/10

5. I Don't Own You - Great song in general nothing too special, the voice sounds nice. 8/10

6. Full Focus - Once again not the best song in the album, but it has a nice sound in it though. 7/10

7. Take a Moment (feat. Winter Kills) - The vocals complement the music and vise versa, the end of the song sounds great. 8/10

8. Feels So Good (feat. Nadia Ali) - Once again and not surprised the vocals are great, but the there should have been more music in it, it had more vocals than music. 7/10

9. Virtual Friend (feat. Sophie) - The lyrics are perfect, the voice sound great, the music goes with it. It is a great song and has meaning to it. 9/10

10. Drowning (feat. Larua V) - This song is great, also vocals and music sounds awesome together, I like what Armin did with this song, ahould have been longer. 8.5/10 (.5 because of the length)

11. Down to Love (feat. Ana Criado) - Great song, love the sound of the music, but the vocals were too soft, I get what he was going for, but should have made them louder or go in another direction. 7/10

12. Comin Home - Another great instrumental song, the piano in it I love, the whole thing is great, the soft vocals fits in it, the guitar is cool, but some what stands out too much. 9/10

13. These Silent Hearts (feat. BT) - It is a great song, personaly I think they could have done alittle better, but I love it. 8/10

14. Orbion - Another instrumental song that is great, at the end is great it has a nice sound too it. 8/10

15. Minack (with Ferry Corsten) - It has a great sound too it and another great instrumental, they both did great with this song. 8/10

16. Youtopia (feat. Adam Young) - I like the idea here, have Adam Young from Owl City in this song, his vocals work with this song alot, the music it's self is great, but two problems. In the end there are 25 seconds of silence and I WANT IT TO BE LONGER!!! 9/10 for extended 10/10
