Album Review

With this 2015 EP, Dillon Francis puts a leash on his prankster persona and focuses on his producer side with fantastic and chilled results. So chilled that highlight "What's Your Name" with Calvin Harris is almost what one would called "refined," swaying in a sea of beautiful synths and giving the Skrillex, Diplo, and Bieber release "Where Are U Now" some wistful competition. "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')" is moombahton slowly slinking up next to trap music, and speaking of Skrillex, the superstar producer assists with the dancehall goodie "Bun Up the Dance," which, oddly enough, could be passed off as a track from Diplo's project Major Lazer. The silly bits come back for the closing "Lies," a short and vocoder-drenched interlude where guests Chromeo do a good job aping '70s funksters Zapp.

I had to stop my car on the side of the road because my iPhone and car stereo simultaneously burst into flame from the pure fire!! Would not recommend unless you plan on spending the money to replace phone and car sound system !

My house burned house while listening

Warning! Do Not Buy! Your house will literally burn down! This mixtape is literal fire!

Why would you make a mixtape that's literally fire?

As soon as I began downloading my iPhone burst into flame thus igniting my charger and blew up my wall. Do not recommend. Buy a lighter instead.

Francis debuted in 2010, going willingly "dumb" from the beginning with his collaboration with rapper Dirty Nasty and the duo's cover of "Sandwiches" by the Detroit Grand Pubahs. He released the solo Swashbuckler EP on the Play Me label before joining Diplo's Mad...
