Many live rarities were appended to the deluxe or expanded versions of The Grateful Dead’s albums in the years after Jerry Garcia’s death. In addition, two critically acclaimed career-retrospective box sets—2001’s The Golden Road and 2004’s Beyond Description—further increased the amount of “alternate” live recordings available in solid fidelity. I wish I could download Dancing in the Streets and Fire on the Mountain individually. Those 2 tracks were the best of what I sampled.
