It;s a fine reading

Despite what "Bz" said, this is well worth listening to and owning. Marin does a fine job with the orchestra with more to come, I'm sure.

BSO and Marin are Rock Stars

Anyone who has followed the BSO since Marin's ascendancy knows that she's put the BSO in the forefront of symphonic attention. Yes, it was a collection of great musicians before, but Marin provides vision. Oh, yes, great recording, and it's easily worth the minimal price.

Conducting by the numbers.

The Baltimore is a better orchestra than most think, but Aslop is pulling them down. This reading is a pedantic adhearence to the scroe, but there is no life whatsoever. Skip over this if you can. -Bz
