Editors’ Notes

With Confessions, Usher puts out his most intimate thoughts: “Burn,” “My Boo,” and the raw, vulnerable title track are ripped from his tear-stained diary. Emerging from the salty pool of regret, he’s ready to party. “Yeah!” (with Lil Jon and Ludacris) may be Usher’s most explosive single ever, merging the Atlanta crunk craze with pop, while “That’s What It’s Made For” is a hip-swiveling pleasure how-to.

Customer Reviews

Blew me away, to say the very least.

I had listened to a good handful of some of these songs when they first came out, and I was totally impressed. Last year, I bought the album, not sure if I would like the other songs so much, but of course, I did. Usher's voice is just so innocent and pure and soulful. The production is just brilliant. This really takes me back to my middle school days. I love My Boo and Burn! best songs ever!!! I love Usher :)

This album is incredible! My favorite song is Yeah! Lov u usher!

He successfully rode mainstream songwriting and production trends across three decades and peaked artistically and commercially during the mid-2000s, when his landmark fourth album, Confessions, outshone all of its competitors.
