Customer Reviews

this is not a review, just wanted to point out

the bonus tracks are from their split with anal blast which is pretty long out of print. very cool for them to re-release both into one package.

Not their best, but not bad

Cephalic Carnage is by far one of the most crushing and inventive extreme metal bands making music today! In extreme metal, it is often difficult for bands to be "progressive" without coming off as gimmicky or losing their metal roots altogether and watering down their sound. But that being said, Cephalic Carnage pulls it off. This is an early offering from CC and not their best. Think of it as a baby step towards many bigger and better things. If you are new to CC, get Xenosapien or Anomalies. These guys just keep getting better and better and their best is surely yet to come.

Who knows, you may love it, as I do.

Soon after their reformation they released a second demo, Fortuitous Oddity, and then hit the road on a self-financed tour across the U.S. in 1997. It was during this tour that the band's...
