Customer Reviews

I sure wanted to like this album but ...

... the lyrics are extremely redundant, and while I know this will draw some ire from fans, they're just kinda crybaby. I hate to say that, too, but after hearing a tune or two, I bought the whole album and realized that the sound is fine. The lyrics are painfully repetitive. Yeah, we get it, a man done you wrong, and he'll suffer for the loss. Only one tune stays away from the classic whiny moonmaiden "you done me wrong, you evil man" theme, and none of them are listenable a second time. As a footnote, the drummer lacks any style or flash at all, merely pounding away the same old drums until the whining ends. Great sound. Crap lyrics. Weak rhythm section.

Halestorm

A fine rock album from start to finish with a Heart edge style I have been missing for a long time. The first time I heard this band I was blown away with their sounds and is truly a great buy.

Fantastic!

Right from the beginning this cd starts rocking and never stops. Every song is awesome. Buy the whole cd and if you don't like it after one listen, then listen again. No favorites....they're all too good.
