Reseña de álbum

The Capitols were a middling soul group who got very lucky with "Cool Jerk." A listen to their 1966 album Dance the Cool Jerk reveals a group with more enthusiasm than talent. Dance the Cool Jerk contains "Cool Jerk," a bunch of self-penned attempts to recreate the sound and feel of "Cool Jerk," and remakes of soul classics like "Good Lovin'," "My Girl," "Please Please Please," and "Love Makes the World Go Round." Their versions of these songs are pretty pointless; much better are the originals like "Zig Zaggin'" and "Tired of Running From You." While the vocals, especially Donald Norman Storballs' leads, are ragged and not very tuneful, at least these songs have some spark of life. They probably put on a great show in a club, but on record their act falls flat.

cool jerk is a pretty awesome song but I would recomend the rest of the CD. becuse it's L.A.M.E lame. PS: every time I hear Cool Jerk I think of home alone. great movie. lol.

My favorite is definitely Cool Jerk!

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York brought me here!

doesn’t sound like the original versions...

sounds like remakes.
