This Song is Badass

This song is a beautiful reflection of the corruption present in today's penal system, offering incredible insight into the twisted life of a UC Berkeley campus cop... Not really, but the song is very cool.

Simple Genius

When I first heard this song @ FNY's most recent Troubadour show, I thought it was merely a goof. Now I'm sold...The Rhodes just adds that extra sweetness....Job well done boy-os.

Despite the band name, Facing New York hail from the punk rock mecca of the San Francisco Bay Area scene, a second-generation emo band with some progressive and post-rock tendencies that grew out of two minor earlier outfits. Singer and guitarist Eric Frederic and keyboardist Rene Carranza's band, Locale A.M., had released two albums, 2001's The Sounds of Spring and 2003's Breaking the Fourth Wall, before splitting.
