this is one of my top three favorite albums seriously it ROCKS i love the songs drain the blood, coral fang, deathsex, beat your heart out, the hunger and hall of mirrors. i really recommend this cd its awesome.

I just drained my heart out into this review.

First let me say how dare iTunes compare any aspect of the Distillers to Avril, Nirvana, and worst Courtney Love!? The fact that "her" relationship to other rockstars being compared to the planet's wh0re icon is even mentioned in the album review is saying a lot about the writer and his/her very shallow and mainstream experience with music (i love you). In all selflessness I have to say that I've been to the far reaches that music expands and I'm still here loving the Distillers because they are more than just a red carpet sell-out. Anyway, the vocals are great as they move from beautifully crisp and flowing perfectly with the solid guitar pumps to very hard yells that are absolutely timely and steadily umph up the moment. Literally every song on this CD is an individual which deserves its own review which is really saying a lot. All in all this is a must-have for anybody who understands the art of music. Here, I'm a huge electro fan of things like Duke Dumont, Guns N Bombs, etc. and I've never really found that special thing that kids go crazy for in punk rock. But The Distillers are different. They deserve your money much more than Courtney.

Best Album Ever!!!

Coral Fang is one of the best albums i've ever listened 2 but true its not as raw as their other 2 albums but its raw and I love it from start to finish

The hardcore punk outfit the Distillers first came together in late 1998 when Aussie native Brody Armstrong met bassist Kim Chi at work and realized their love for playing. Soon they hooked up with Detroit guitarist Rose Casper and drummer Matt. Signed to Epitaph, the band issued its self-titled debut in April 2000. Sing Sing Death House appeared the same year, but was re-released in early 2002 thanks to the sudden popularity of "Seneca Falls." By now, Kim Chi had left the group to join Exene Cervenka...
