Legendary Show Sounds Amazing

Listening now....downloaded as soon as it was available. I've heard this show many times, but through taper trades with "meh" recording and tape hiss. This release is amazing! Crisp highs, deep, powerful bass, and the mix for instrument separation is fantastic! NO TAPE HISS! Yes, traders will understand....it's fantastic. Easily shot to the top of my list with Veneta. After being a little let down with Red Rocks last year, this one is going to get ALOT of listening.

GOAT?

This is the cassette in the very first stash of live Grateful Dead I was given that got me on the bus for life. A phenomenal recording of the Grateful Dead in their amazing 1977 Spring tour by Betty Cantor-Jackson. The band was so tight and played with such sweetness and swagger. A perfect show for old and new fans alike. Is it the "greatest show of all time"? Hotly debatable with so many strong performances in '69, '70, '72, '73, 74, etc. but no collection is complete without it! HIGHLY recommeded.

Wow. just wow !

The separation of the instruments and voices is SOOOO clear. I remember those fatty Maxells this was recorded on and passed around. I wore out many. This an unbelievable recording!
